KJS Fine Art Photography

My images strike a delicate balance between reality and abstraction

inviting reconnection with our natural world.

I have produced multi-award winning films for PBS, Discovery and the

History Channel as well as Celebrity Portraiture for Annie Leibovitz and

cinematic media for contemporary artist Bill Viola for works premiering at

the Getty, MOMA and the National Gallery of England.

I hold a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology from USC and taught a

generation of photographers and filmmakers at Brooks Institute of

Photography.

My prints are available in open and limited editions. All the work is

printed in my Santa Barbara studio with premium inks and papers. I

additionally offer one-on-one photographic mentoring and custom garden
