I began photographing flowers during Covid as a way to cope with the lockdown and have found astonishing beauty in the pursuit of collecting, shooting and printing. I am particularly drawn to color and form and intent on creating images that call your eye back again and again. While my films tackle hard subjects, my photographs reveal a lighter side of my life -- of color and joy, of moments and impulse, patterns and impact.

I believe that photography is as much about learning to see and develop original relationships as it is about appreciating brilliant prints. I am convinced that the process of photography enables us to relate to our world in deeper, nuanced ways.

I am continually aware of the way my work evolves, my relationships change and the work becomes a journey as well.

My prints are available in open and limited editions. I print all the work in my home studio with premium inks and papers.
